The leadership of Volvo spoke about their plans for work in the Russian automotive market in 2020. The automaker is preparing to release a number of new products.
Already in February 2020, the XC60 T8 Twin Engine crossover equipped with a hybrid power plant will appear in Russia. The total capacity of the unit will be 407 horsepower, it is a gasoline engine for 320 “horses” and an electric motor that adds 87 more horsepower. To a speed indicator of 100 km / h, the car is able to accelerate from standstill in 5.3 seconds. As for fuel consumption, the average figure is 2.3 liters per hundred kilometers.
Also in February, domestic motorists will have the opportunity to purchase S60 sedan at dealerships. The car in the basic version was called Momentum. The car is front-wheel drive, equipped with a gasoline engine with a capacity of 190 horsepower. In addition, an option with all-wheel drive and a power plant with a capacity of 249 horsepower will be available.
The automaker also states that a number of special versions of a number of models will be launched in the coming year. So far, Volvo has not disclosed any details about this. Most likely, this will be a kind of surprise for both specialists and ordinary consumers.
