Volkswagen updated Arteon and introduced Shooting Brake and Arteon R versions

The German company introduced an updated version of the Arteon model, and at the same time for the first time brought out a version of a jailbreak break

The restyled liftback got a slightly changed appearance. Headlights are now connected to each other by a thin LED strip. The front bumper and the shape of the air intakes have been updated. Behind the innovations are barely noticeable: the lights retained their shape, but updated the graphics. But the main premiere, of course, was the version of Shooting Brake. Unlike traditional station wagons, the rear window and roof racks are heavily littered here, which creates a more dynamic silhouette. With the rear seats folded down, the boot volume is 1,632 liters. This is 75 liters more than the liftback.

A new technique has also appeared. Arteon can now be a rechargeable hybrid. The eHybrid version combines a 1.4 TSI turbo engine (156 hp) with an electric motor (115 hp). In total, 218 hp is obtained. The car is capable of driving up to 53 km in fully electric mode. The maximum speed without starting the engine is 140 km / h. In Europe, 2.0 TSI (190 or 280 hp) and 2.0 TDI (150 and 200 hp) engines will also be offered.
