Video: police give money to violators instead of a fine

They decided to reward drivers who slightly violated the rules of the road in the framework of the campaign “50 Acts of Kindness”. Sheriff Jay Varney, Chief of Madera County Police, emphasized that the “good deeds” campaign was held for the fifth year, allowing his wards to communicate with citizens in a positive way and give them a festive mood.

California law enforcement officers thanked the event’s sponsor, Agriland, noting that giving gifts instead of fines is remembered for a long time and helps increase public loyalty to law enforcement. By the end of the day, touching videos on the police’s official page on Facebook posted the reaction of the drivers to the New Year’s gift.
