In Russia, the average cost of a used car in 2019 amounted to 581 thousand rubles. This figure is 2.4% more than in the same period in 2018, according to Avto.ru. Used car prices have risen in almost all Russian regions. The only exception was Nizhny Novgorod. Here, the secondary market lost 2.4% in price.
The highest average price for used cars recorded in the capital. So, in Moscow and Moscow region for a used car you will have to pay an average of 859.8 thousand rubles. In St. Petersburg, in the secondary market, a car can be bought for 717.0 thousand rubles. The lowest indicator in Volgograd is 427.5 thousand rubles.
The most popular cars on the Russian secondary market were Lada cars. The share in demand at the end of 2019 amounted to 17.6%, and the share in the volume of offers – 19.4%.
In the ranking of models, the first place went to Ford Focus with a share of demand of 2.5% and supply of 2.4%. This is followed by Lada 2114 with indicators of 2.1% and 1.8% and Lada Priora – demand 1.9% and supply 2.3%.
