From 1 to 4 October, the Moscow IEC is hosting ActiveExpo Fest – a festival of exhibitions of goods for active recreation. I would especially like to note the exposition of the exhibition “Fishing Hunting Tourism”, where you can see unique vehicles of domestic production and modernization.
Let’s start with cars, of course. We have already repeatedly talked about the capital’s tuning studio from the State Sports Complex “Deck”, which specializes in the refinement of Niva cars. The guys brought another novelty to the exhibition – a hunting car, converted from a long-wheelbase VAZ-2131, produced in 1999.
In fact, this is a completely different car, specially prepared for wheels of size 31. “Niva” came to the craftsmen in a very bad condition, with a rotten, dead body. As a result, the car took about a year.
Here, spars and sills have traditionally been replaced with shaped pipes – an integrated frame has turned out. Of the features of this particular car, we note the installed reinforced drives, razdatka, powerful gearboxes, interlocks. the front bumper has a powerful electric winch with a pulling force of 6,000 kg.
Instead of a carburetor engine, they installed a forced injection, 1.8-liter. The engine was repaired, a straight-through exhaust system was made and prepared for fording. The cooling system is taken from the Chevrolet Niva. And the stove tap, which often torments the owners, was installed from the G8. The machine has been converted for gas, for which a 50 liter cylinder is mounted in the rear.
There are changes in the suspension. For 31 wheels, an A-arm and dual shock absorbers were installed in the back. As a result, the rear suspension is practically not inferior to the front in terms of travel.
As for the interior, unlike the previously presented tuning Nivs, here it is sheathed with aluminum.
At the exhibition you can also see a trailed teardrop camper from the capital manufacturer LifeStyle Camper. Note that the presented model, specially designed for off-road, was recently demonstrated at the Caravan Salon 2020 in Dusseldorf, where it aroused great interest among visitors.
Next to it is a Volkswagen Amarok pickup with Line-X PU coating applied to its body. An excellent tractor for the aforementioned camper.
If we talk about the exposition in the pavilion, then one cannot fail to mention an interesting Ukrainian water transport – boats with an electric drive EcoBoat. Visitors can see two models presented by Artel Ltd from Nikolaev. The smaller one is called EcoBoat Relax – it is double and weighs only 70 kg. Fiberglass body.
Another boat is called the Fisher and is designed for four (2 adults + 2 child seats). In both cases, a 735 W electric motor is used. Helium batteries provide a power reserve of up to 3 hours and are charged from a regular outlet in 10 hours. You can install and more capacious, lithium-ion, which increase the power reserve up to 6 hours. The maximum speed of the first is 8 km / h, and the second is 7 km / h. Price – $ 3000- $ 3500.
I would also like to tell you about the snowmobiles, which were presented by artisans from Borodyansky district, Kiev region. They affectionately nicknamed their creations “Bee” and “Rocket”. The essence of the design is simple – double skis are installed in the front, and a wheel is installed at the back, which is driven by two-stroke or four-stroke gasoline engines through a chain drive. The exhibition shows models with engines used on brushcutters – “Belarusmash” BBT-6800, Cardtech GT 4200 and Procraft 5600. The latter, by the way, is installed on the newest model – with a caterpillar drive. Motorcycle sleds accelerate to 20-22 km / h and can travel up to 10 km on a regular tank. Prices – from 15 thousand UAH.
And in conclusion, about high art. The famous artist Viktor Zinchenko presented his original works on the automotive theme at the exhibition. Particularly noteworthy is the picture of a fantastic half-track machine for hunting and fishing. Its author created 12 years ago, inspired by the stories of hunters and fishermen at the same exhibition in Kiev.
