South Korean auto giants Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors have announced the recall of 640 thousand cars in Russia due to various defects. This was reported by TASS with reference to the national ministry of state territories, infrastructure and transport.
Six models are subject to recall for troubleshooting. Among them are the Hyundai Grand Starex minivan, the small Porter 2 truck and the Solati minibus, which found problems with unstable engine operation, as well as the Kia Sorento parquet SUV with malfunctions in the frontal collision avoidance system.
Earlier in December, it became known that the American auto giant General Motors (GM) decided to sell its latest asset in Russia. We are talking about GM-Avtovaz, a 50% stake of which is going to be bought by the Russian AvtoVAZ. It is known that the parties signed an agreement, but the details of the transaction were not disclosed.
