Atelier AC Schnitzer, specializing in the refinement of BMW cars, has prepared a set of improvements for the X3 M Competition SUV. Specialists of the workshop offer to boost the engine, adjust the suspension, add new aerodynamic elements and custom wheels to the image.
By software tuning, the output of a six-cylinder three-liter twin-engine engine is increased by 90 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque to 600 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. Thus, the BMW X3 M Competition is compared in terms of power with the larger X5 M with a 4.4-liter “twin-turbo eight”.
The visually “charged” X3 M from AC Schnitzer can be recognized by its lowered suspension by 20-25 millimeters, nameplates, original 20- or 22-inch alloy wheels in black or steel-gray, as well as a compact overlay on the front bumper and a tiny wing. Atelier experts assure that the parts have been tested in a wind tunnel and increase downforce.
Motorists AC Schnitzer promise in the near future to prepare firmware for the “regular” 480-horsepower X3 M. Atelier stylists are probably working on similar appearance improvements for the X4 M coupe-like. The price list for all types of work and custom details has not yet been published.
Prices for stock 510-horsepower BMW X3 M Competition in Russia start from 6 million 690 thousand rubles. Cross-coupe X4 M Competition is more expensive on average by 130 thousand rubles.
