The German studio Lorinser has released a tuning package for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan. Designers offer owners to add a sporty touch to the city car by adding new body elements, replacing rims and chip tuning the engine. The firmware is available for versions A 180 d, A 200, A 220, A 250 and AMG A 35.
Externally, the A-Class after the intervention of Lorinser is easily recognizable by a protruding black front splitter, flaps, a branded emblem on the radiator grille, 19-inch alloy wheels, a new diffuser and four exhaust pipes in the style of the “forty-fifth” Mercedes-AMG family. It is known that a complete refinement of the front bumper will cost 1,462 euros (about 101 thousand rubles).

After replacing the engine software and installing a sports exhaust, the output of a two-liter “turbo four” version A 250 rises from 224 horsepower (350 Nm of torque) to 262 horsepower and 415 Nm of torque. A similar modernization of modification A 220 increases productivity from 190 horsepower (350 Nm of torque) to 231 horsepower and 419 Nm of torque.

Firmware is also available for the base gasoline engine 1.33 – power can be increased from 163 horsepower to 189 horsepower, and torque from 250 Nm to 300 Nm. In addition, Lorinser experts are ready to add 15 horsepower and 34 Nm of torque to the diesel modification A 180 d with a 1.5-liter “turbo four”. The output of the engine on “heavy” fuel will increase to 131 horsepower and 294 Nm of torque.
For owners of “charged” Mercedes-AMG A 35, Lorinser motorists also have a boost kit – the turbo engine 2.0 can be increased by 35 horsepower and 69 Nm of torque. Thus, the “thirty-fifth” line will develop 341 horsepower and 469 Nm of torque. The price of chip tuning and the full price list for external elements in Lorinser will be announced later.
