Especially for Europe, the Japanese concern is going to release a sports car with a two-liter engine
According to the British Autocar, for Europe a certain two-liter turbo-unit from BMW was chosen. Its name is not indicated, however, its power is reported – 258 horsepower. Note that such an internal combustion engine will be aggregated with an 8-speed automatic ZF.
Despite the loss of 82 hp compared with the 3.0-liter version, the difference in dynamics will not be huge. Representatives of the company report that in acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h the coupe will lose only 0.8 seconds (time will be 5.2 seconds). It is expected that the “maximum speed” will decrease to 240 km / h (like the BMW Z4 sDrive30i with the same engine). It is curious that the younger engine, due to its low mass, will achieve a 50:50 weight distribution along the axes.
