Toyota has published a teaser and the first information about a new small crossover, which will be located one step below the C-HR model. The car, intended for the European market, will debut in 2020.
The compact crossover will be built on the GA-B platform, which is part of TNGA’s global modular architecture. Thus, the car will share the main components and assemblies with a new generation Yaris hatchback.
At the same time, Toyota noted that the crossover will not work out simply with the Yaris with increased ground clearance – it will differ from its platform donor in appearance and dimensions. The car will be launched at an enterprise in France on the same line as Yaris.
