The brand new BMW 4-series 2021 is almost ready for mass production. This is evidenced by the latest images of the car, which show many interesting elements of the exterior of the car.
The fact that the radiator grilles of BMW cars grow every year is no secret. However, when they first saw the grille of the so-called Concept 4, many could not even think that this is possible in a production car. And now, get it – sign it. Most likely, these photos were taken by one of the company’s employees, because the car is in some warehouse covered by a cover. Having opened the veil of secrecy, the photographer witnessed, perhaps, the largest grill from the Bavarian company. The fact that this is the fourth series is indicated by a photograph taken from behind, where we see the lights already lit up on the test prototype.
At first glance, it might seem that the radiator grill is whole and the Bavarian engineers decided to abandon their tradition. However, looking closely, it becomes clear that the grid is still divided by a small strip in the middle.
If you leave the radiator grille aside, the 4-series will follow in the footsteps of the 3-series and will be offered with an assortment of different engines. At the start, we can expect a 430i with a 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine developing 255 hp. and torque of 400 Nm. It should be joined by an M440i with a 3-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine with a power of 382 hp. and a torque of 500 Nm.
Later, a new M4 with a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo engine will appear, which develops 480 hp. and 599 Nm of torque. Fans looking for more power will be able to choose an option for competitions with a capacity of 503 hp. (375 kW / 510 hp) and a torque of 442 Nm (599 Nm).
