Avtodor proposed launching a system for automatic identification of vehicles with spikes using cameras
In Russia, drivers may begin to be fined for off-season tires. Such an initiative was made by the state-owned company Avtodor during a round table in the State Duma, Kommersant reports. To this end, the company proposed to launch a system for the automatic identification of vehicles with spikes using cameras. So that the complexes can follow the new requirements in the SDA it is proposed to return the “Spikes” sign.
In turn, the Ministry of Internal Affairs supported the idea of returning a fine for violating the rules for the use of tires. At the same time, the department reminded of the problem with trucks and buses that drive summer tires all year round.
