The Kremlin administration has received three more emergency lights on their company cars. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Thus, the administration of the head of state now has 25 vehicles with special signals, TASS reports. The document comes into force from the day of its signing.
Prior to this, the Kremlin administration received additional emergency lights for its official vehicles in December 2017. Then they became 23. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
At present, the right to use flashing lights on cars without special coloring is also vested in the Russian Guard, the FSB, the state courier service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the government, the administration of the Kremlin, the Ministry of Defense, the IC of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and one unit each – the Accounts Chamber, SVR, General Directorate of Special Projects, Office of the President, Rosfinmonitoring, RAS and Heads of the Federation.
Blue flashers are installed on emergency vehicles and special public services – in addition to firefighters, ambulances and police, beacons can be received by the Ministry of Emergencies, the Investigative Committee, the FSO, the FSB, the IAI and other departments, as well as municipal and private organizations. Installation and use must be consistent with the traffic police.
