In its home market, the Kia K9 now receives a design with narrower optical blocks, but retains the huge grille specific to the sedan model. At the rear, the two taillights were joined by an LED strip, and the new Kia logo sits in the center position.
The high-class sedan model also receives 19-inch wheels with a new design to keep the fresh look of the model launched three years ago. Before the facelift, the Korean model could be configured with 3.3, 3.8 or 5.0 liter engines with powers ranging from 315 to 425 hp.
In early 2021, Kia adopted a new design philosophy and a new logo. The new logo was first used last spring on the Imagine by Kia concept presented at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
