The first copy of the convertible Lexus LC500 Convertible was sold for $ 2 million at the auction of the auction house Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale (Arizona). At the same time, the buyer himself will receive the car only in July this year.
An open modification of the Lexus LC model was presented in November 2019 at the Los Angeles Motor Show. The car became the first serial convertible of the Japanese brand after the IS300 ° C, which was discontinued in 2015.
The car received a four-section soft top, which can be folded and unfolded in 15-16 seconds at speeds up to 50 km per hour. The interior used leather, Alcantara and aluminum. The convertible received a “smart” interior lighting system, as well as an infotainment complex with a 10.3-inch display and support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
