The creators of the crossover with nine doors will build a “smart city”

The Chinese company Human Horizons, which introduced a crossover with nine doors and operating at the junction of the technological and automotive industries, has announced plans to build a “smart city”. It will be located on the territory of the Zhangjiang High-Tech Park, Shanghai, in whose AI hub the transport and communication infrastructure of the city of the future will be recreated.

The project, called Vehicle-Road-City Integrated Smart City, will lay the foundation for the development of high-tech roads and autonomous vehicles. The initiative is part of the Human Horizons strategic plan, called 3 Smart: from “smart vehicle”, “smart road” and “smart city”.

Smart City will become part of the Zhangjiang Park AI hub. Here they will use 5G communications, V2X technology (vehicle-to-everything, vehicle communication with infrastructure), big data processing methods, cloud computing and artificial intelligence.

All this will become the basis for the functioning of the “unmanned ecosystem” of autonomous buses, a network of smart roads and a smart traffic control center.

Information for the center will be collected by three unmanned shuttles with laser rangefinders, and the entire complex will be presented as an archetype of the world’s first 5G-system for controlling autonomous movement.

Human Horizons can integrate its HiPhi 1 crossover into the city’s infrastructure. It is equipped with more than 500 sensors and a third-level autopilot, as well as six computing platforms and a neural network responsible for processing and transmitting data.

In addition, HiPhi 1 has nine doors, including two that open along and against the direction of movement and the “wings of a seagull.”
