The creator of the McLaren F1 hypercar, Gordon Murray, showed images of the Motiv city electric car built by an engineer company – Gordon Murray Design (GMD)

Actually, the model is designed for one person, equipped with an autopilot and does not have conventional controls. It is curious that, despite the tiny dimensions, the electric car meets the latest safety requirements thanks to composite body panels and the iStream Superlight aluminum frame.

GMD Motiv is equipped with an electric motor with a power of 27 hp and a liquid-cooled battery with a capacity of 17.3 kW • h. The maximum speed of the electric car is 65 km / h, the power reserve is 100 kilometers. Charging the battery from 20 to 80 percent takes 40 minutes, and from zero to 100 percent – 2.5 hours. Gordon Murray Design hopes that Motiv will be able to start mass production in at least two years, a maximum in five years.
