Ford introduced the updated supercar GT. The model received an upgraded more powerful engine, a titanium exhaust system, as well as two new styling packages.
The output of the 3.5-liter V6 engine with two turbines, thanks to other settings of the electronic control unit, was increased from 656 to 669 horsepower. In addition, the unit used modernized pistons and induction coils, as well as increased intercoolers and the release of titanium from the Slovenian company Akrapovic, which is 4 kg lighter than standard.
After the update, the shape of the air intakes in the supercar changed, and the damping characteristics of the suspension in the Track driving mode increased.
In 2018, Ford decided to extend the production time for the GT supercar due to the high demand for the model. The cycle will last until 2022, and the volume of coupe output will increase from the previously planned 1,000 to 1,350 copies.
