STI modification of next-generation Subaru Levorg prototype debuts at Tokyo Auto Salon 2020
Subaru has published a video teaser of the prototype “charged” version of the next-generation Levorg station wagon. The public premiere will take place at the Tokyo Motor Show in January 2020. This will be the second concept car designed to give an idea of the second-generation Levorg model. Following the usual prototype, the Japanese will prepare a sports STI-modification of the concept wagon.
It should be noted that the design of the new station wagon will be much borrowed from the prototype Viziv Tourer, which was presented in 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show. As for technology, Levorg will be built on the global modular platform Subaru Global Platform (SGP), which is already the basis of Impreza and other new models of the company. The new generation wagon will receive a 1.8-liter turbo engine. Power about 270 hp and all-wheel drive system.
