Starting from January 1, Russia will change the procedure for registering cars. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev
According to Kommersant, Russians will be able to register new cars directly at dealerships without visiting the traffic police department. The fact is that car dealerships will be able to obtain the status of a “specialized organization.” After passing the check and fulfilling a number of requirements, the dealer will be able to transfer documents to the traffic police, make numbers and transfer the entire set of documents with keys to the buyer.
Meanwhile, for customers this service will be paid. According to the publication, the client will have to pay about 500 rubles for rooms at the dealer. Such rates for the service were established by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).
