To send all the necessary data to insurers, the driver will only need to press the SOS button after the accident
In Russia, starting next year, for the objective fixation of accidents through the Euro protocol, it will be possible to use the satellite emergency assistance system for ERA-GLONASS accidents. This was reported by Izvestia with reference to the head of the Russian Union of Auto Insurers (RSA) Igor Yurgens. According to him, in the event of an accident, drivers will no longer need to photograph damage to cars – all data will be sent to insurers automatically.
For this, it is planned to integrate the ERA-GLONASS system with the OSAGO automated information system (AIS). At the moment, PCA is already preparing all the necessary documentation. It is expected that to send all the necessary data to insurers, the driver will only need to press the SOS button of the emergency response system after the accident.
