With a new platform that adds 50 mm to the wheelbase, the third-generation Swift retains the sporty spirit, combining it with decent comfort. Second Hand – Suzuki Swift Mk3.

Lead

Far from being a revolution, however, the third generation Swift came with noticeable progress. In addition to the established qualities – good visibility, pleasant direction, sportiness and intuitively arranged controls – the third generation brought an extra touch of comfort. It is true that small drawbacks, such as the sometimes difficult-to-handle gearbox, impulse-free electric windows and the on-board computer that may not be accessible using the buttons on the steering wheel, can be annoying. But the pleasure of gliding on the corners approached in force, especially at the wheel of the Sport version, is exciting!

➡ What’s new for the next generation Swift 💡

Used interior – Suzuki Swift

A pleasant interior, with a high interior height, bathed in light and with comfortable seats greets its passengers. They enjoy a lot of space in the front, and two people can fit in the back without any problems. However, the seat back is too vertical and uncomfortable, and the trunk has an extremely small volume. The interior design is pleasant, but the quality of the materials, which over time can make noises because they are loud, and the soundproofing are not at the level of those of the class leaders. Although, compared to the second generation, the comfort has been somewhat improved, it does not impress, especially on the city streets.

1.2 VVT 09 / 10–01 / 17 94 165 12.3 5.0 (5.6) • • • Pleasant in the city, but the little couple penalizes him on the long road. You have to turn hard when overtaking.
1.2 VVT 4 × 4 01 / 11–01 / 17 94 165 13.4 5.5 • • It is mainly addressed to areas with long winters, the motor skills being excellent. Consumption is high, and the dynamics are severely penalized.
