Russian sales of the Lamborghini Urus crossover in 2019 doubled – up to 126 units. About this in an interview with the publication Automotive News said the executive director of the Italian brand Stefano Domnnikali.
According to the top manager, on average, the queue for the Urus model is stretched for nine months, in connection with which, in the future, the company could increase the production of crossovers in order to reduce the waiting time.
Domenicali noted that in 2020 Lamborghini expects to sell about 8.5 thousand cars. The company understands that the demand for Urus will not continue to grow constantly, therefore, in order to achieve an indicator of 10 thousand cars sold per year, the company will need to replenish its line with a fourth model. At the same time, a completely new car from Lamborghini should not be expected before 2025.
