In 2009, the British premium brand sold only 1,002 cars, in 2018 – 4,107, and in 2019 – 5,152 cars. This is the best result for all the years the company has existed. The main markets for the brand are still Europe, North America and China, although Rolls-Royce sales of cars have been recorded in other world markets. The title of the best-selling model in the history of the brand went to the first Rolls-Royce crossover – Cullinan, which debuted in May 2018. In November 2019, the company released the top version of the model – Black Badge.
Last year, the company completed mass production of Ghost with the release of the Zenith farewell collection. The circulation was limited to 50 units. A new generation of models will be presented in the middle of this year, the start of sales is scheduled for the fourth quarter.
Also in 2019, the Bespoke Rolls-Royce Motor Cars division was marked by two exclusive projects: Phantom Tranquillity and Wraith Eagle VIII. The first brand was shown at the March Geneva Motor Show. The circulation was limited to 25 units. The public premiere of Rolls-Royce Wraith Eagle VIII took place in May at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on the shores of Lake Como in Italy. The collection car was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the first transatlantic flight, held in June 1919.
