The South American division of Renault introduced the second-generation Duster crossover for the local market, which is sold under the Dacia brand in Europe. One of the features of the novelty was a salon that closely resembles the interior of the Arkana model for Russia.
In particular, the South American Duster has the same multifunction steering wheel, transmission selector, dashboard, large screen multimedia system, as well as a climate control unit.
As for the exterior, the crossover for South America differs from the European Dacia Duster in a slightly different design of the grille and additional fog lights.
The first generation Renault Duster, which is available with 1.6 and 2.0 liter gasoline engines developing 144 and 143 hp, is still sold in Russia. respectively. In addition, the line includes a 1.5-liter diesel engine, issuing 109 horsepower. Prices for the crossover start at around 741,000 rubles (for a 2020 model year car).
