Reconstruction of the M4 highway

This highway has several problem areas, which are either already being put in order, or are in the plans of the “road workers”

According to Avtodor, a total of almost one hundred kilometers of the M-4 Don highway will be overhauled this year. So, the work is waiting for the following sections of the path: from the 235th to 260 km (bypass Bogoroditsk, Tula region), from 351 to 401 km (bypass Yelts and Yarkino, Lipetsk region), from 414 to 463 km (bypass Zadonsk and Khlevnoy, too Lipetsk region), as well as from 464 to 479 km (toll road section in the Voronezh region).

Repair work will begin in the second half of this year, at the end of the holiday season. That is, this summer, Russian motorists will go to the Black Sea resorts along the current highway, however, next year the condition of the road will already be improved.
