The name Prophecy (translated from English – prophecy) symbolizes the true purpose of the concept, they say in Hyundai. A compact electric car will determine the vector of development of the design language “Sensuous Sportiness” and will become a “style icon” for the entire line of electric vehicles of the South Korean brand.
“Prophecy does not follow trends. It emphasizes timeless beauty that will stand the test of time, ”said San Jupe Lee, head of Hyundai’s global design center. “His style is designed to take Hyundai’s design to new horizons.”
The company focuses on the “beautiful silhouette”, “graceful lines”, “wide sides of the rear of the body” and “pixel lights”, but does not give any details about the technical stuffing. Perhaps Prophecy is just a design study, not a running prototype. However, the details will become known on March 3, when an international motor show opens in Geneva.
