The Genesis GV80 has proven to be an innovative model. Firstly, this is the first car of the South Korean brand, for which 22-inch wheels are provided in the top-end configuration (19 and 20-inch wheels are more simply relied on versions). Secondly, the crossover received an unusual airbag: it opens between the front seats, preventing the driver and passenger from hitting. In total, the GV80 has ten airbags. Thirdly, RANC (Road-noise Active Noise Control) in the cabin made its debut on the model.
In terms of size, the novelty is comparable to the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE: the GV80 reaches 4945 millimeters in length, 1975 millimeters in width, 1715 millimeters in height and a wheelbase of 2955 millimeters. The car body is made of steel, and the hood and luggage door are made of aluminum to reduce the weight of the structure.
