Porsche 911 has the first special version

Porsche released the first special edition of the Porsche 911 992 Series, which debuted in November 2018. The Belgian Legend Edition is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Belgian racing driver Jacques X, who was a factory Porsche racer in 1970-1980. An order for a special edition came from D’Ieteren, a Belgian importer of Porsche. The sports car was developed by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and Style Porsche. The basis of a special “two-door”, decorated in the style of the signature white and blue helmet of X, was the 911 Carrera 4S. The coupe body was painted in a unique shade of X Blue, selected using the Paint To Sample program. This is the first 992 to which this program is applied.

Also, the Belgian Legend Edition got a Belgian flag label autographed by Jacques X and 20/21-inch Carrera Classic wheels in a unique color with laser engraving. The two-door interior is trimmed in black leather with an X-shaped stitching in Pebble Gray color on the front panel, seats and door cards, a series name plate on the door sills and an X sign on the armrest.

The Porsche 911 Belgian Legend Edition is equipped with the standard for the 911 Carrera 4S 3.0-liter boxer “turbo six” (450 hp, 530 Nm), paired with an eight-band PDK “robot”. From zero to 100 km / h, the coupe accelerates in 3.6 seconds and develops a top speed of 306 km / h.

The special edition will be limited to 75 cars. All will be sold in Belgium.

Jacques X is the six-time winner of the 24-hour race at Le Mans. In four of them, he won the Porsche driving, of which three – on the 540-horsepower 936/77.
