CTP policies in 2020 will be issued on the forms of the new series – “IUU” and “PPP”. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Russian Union of Auto Insurers (RSA).
At the same time, insurers will be able to use letterheads of the old series – “KKK” and “MMM” – until April 1, 2020, and MTPL agreements executed on letterheads of this type will be valid until the end of the term indicated on them.
According to the RSA, Goznak began to ship from the 26th of December 2019 the CTP insurance forms of the PPP series.
It is noted that the forms of the new “IUU” series, like the “KKK” series, will have a back for information on additional insurance contracts.
As it is specified, when a Bank of Russia normative act appears that regulates the conclusion of voluntary insurance contracts on the reverse side of the CTP insurance policy, it will be possible to use forms of the IUU series for this. The new series “PPP” and the old series “MMM” do not provide for such an opportunity.
Since 2020, amendments to the rules of the road have come into force in Russia. The amendments correct the list of documents that must be presented to the traffic police.
In particular, it is possible to provide a CTP insurance policy for verification both on paper and in the form of an electronic document.
The director of the National Public Center for Traffic Safety Sergei Kanaev in an interview with the FAN praised the entry into force of amendments to the SDA in Russia.
