Opel promised to lower prices for cars in Russia & nbsp

The price of Opel cars in Russia will decrease, but this will affect only local production models. This was reported by TASS with reference to the managing director of the brands Peugeot, Citroen and Opel in Russia Alexey Volodin.
He clarified that the cost will decrease with the addition of medium and basic trim levels. Currently, the Zafira Life minivan is produced at the concern’s car plant in Kaluga. Depending on the configuration, the car costs from 2.5 to 2.9 million rubles. At the end of Q1 2020, production of the Vivaro cargo van will begin.
In December 2019, Opel announced plans to resume sales in Russia. In particular, pre-orders for Grandland X and Zafira Life models began.
The automaker left the Russian market in 2015. Then the company stopped production projects and worked in the country as a sales office.
