Nissan motorists say that compared to the previous V6 4.0, the power of the 3.8-liter direct injection unit has grown from 265 to 314 horsepower with a constant torque of 381 Nm.

In terms of architecture, the new motor is identical to its predecessor, but there are almost no interchangeable components: the share of upgraded parts reaches 93 percent. The assembly of V6 engines will be established at the American Nissan plant in Tennessee next to the gasoline V8 5.6.
