In 2020, Volkswagen will release a completely new Caddy, in anticipation of the imminent premiere, the auto giant has distributed design sketches for the upcoming novelty.
In the new generation, Caddy will depart from deliberately strict and faceless style. Judging by the drawings, the car will receive an expressive and sophisticated exterior with sporty notes. Volkswagen expects that such a change in the design paradigm will attract more private customers to the model, while not rejecting corporate customers.
The car will continue to be offered in versions Cargo (all-metal cargo van) and Life (passenger minivan with a glazed body). The cargo version will be produced with a lifting rear door in the basic configuration or with optional two wings. There is no information about the technical “stuffing” yet, but, obviously, the car is being built on the all-Volkswagen platform MQB. The engine range will include gasoline, diesel versions and the “rechargeable hybrid” modification.
