BMW has announced the cost of a 2-Series Gran Coupe for the Russian market – the basic version can be ordered for 1,990,000 rubles. The advance payment is 70 thousand rubles, and the delivery will take about three months.
For this amount, a 2-Series Gran Coupe is offered with a 140-horsepower three-cylinder engine of 1.5 liters paired with a Steptronic “robot” with two clutches. From zero to 100 kilometers per hour, such a car accelerates in 8.7 seconds, and the maximum speed is 213 kilometers per hour. The declared fuel consumption in the urban cycle is 7.2 liters.
The equipment list of the initial version of the BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe includes 17-inch wheels, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, dynamic cruise, adaptive LED headlights, as well as a parking assistant and a rear view camera.
The sports sedan debuted last fall. Then it was reported that the model was built on the FAAR platform, on which the BMW 1-Series hatchback is also based. The main competitor of the novelty is the Mercedes-Benz CLA, which costs in Russia from 2.5 million rubles for a version with a 1.3-liter engine rated at 150 horsepower.
