The company Mercedes-Benz published the first official photos of the prototypes, and also revealed some information about the updated E-Class sedan. The premiere of the car should take place soon, and its European sales will start in the summer of 2020.
It is assumed that the sedan will receive a number of stylistic changes, including new front and rear bumpers, as well as other headlights and lanterns made in the style of the current CLA and CLS models. A new steering wheel with touch buttons, a new air quality indicator, and the MBUX infotainment system with two 10.25-inch displays will appear in the cabin.
The updated Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be available with the Active Distance Assist system, which, for example, is able to independently reduce speed in advance if the electronics detects traffic jams ahead, as well as with the all-round visibility function and the active blind spot monitoring system.
