According to IndianAutosBlogThe electric Kia Seltos will receive a power plant from Hyundai Kona Electric. The crossover will get an electric motor with a capacity of 136 forces (395 Nm) and a traction battery with a capacity of 39.2 kilowatt hours. Certified by the Indian Automobile Research Association (ARAI), the Kona range is 452 kilometers.
However, in other markets, Kona Electric has an older version with a 204-horsepower electric motor and a 64 kilowatt-hour battery. From zero to “hundreds” of such a crossover accelerates in 7.6 seconds and travels without recharging up to 482 kilometers, but already on the driving cycle WLTP. Whether the Seltos variation remains intact is not yet known.
