Last year was marked for the German brand by a whole galaxy of new models announced and presented “live”. Some of them will reach the Russian market this year, with Mercedes-Benz focusing on a variety of crossovers.
It is curious that the company decided to concentrate all the main Russian debuts around the middle of the year. For example, in June, dealers should have the largest of the compact Mercedes-Benz SUVs – the seven-seat GLB (in the title photo).
In Europe, the SUV has already received a wide selection of engines and transmissions – from a 163-horsepower gasoline engine and a small diesel engine to a 224-horsepower gasoline four, 7- and 8-speed robots and an optional all-wheel drive system. In addition, the crossover managed to acquire a modification from AMG, which, along with index 35, received a 306 hp engine. What power units GLB will appear with us, has not yet been specified, but with a high degree of probability they will all be accompanied by all-wheel drive.

Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe
In June, as Avtostat clarifies, sales of a larger off-road vehicle, the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, should start in our country. Its main differences from the standard GLE are the body structure, which is equipped with a more dynamic roof line and “littered” rear pillars. The current Mercedes-Benz GLE is valued in our country at least 4,890,000 rubles.

Mercedes-Benz EQC
Another premiere scheduled for this month is the EQC electric SUV, which has already passed certification procedures. The competitor Jaguar I-Pace will appear in Russia, most likely with a 408-horsepower twin-engine power plant and a 450 km battery on a single charge.

Mercedes-Maybach GLS
Finally, in July, sales of the most expensive German-made crossover in history – the Mercedes-Maybach GLS – should begin in our country. The luxurious four-seater SUV, a competitor to the Bentley Bentayga and Rolls-Royce Cullinan, is equipped with either a 4-liter V8 rated at 558 hp or a 489-horsepower engine, but it is rumored that the V12 can supply it in the future. According to some forecasts, the price of an off-road Maybach in Russia will fluctuate around 12 million rubles.
