The German company Ruf Automobile, specializing in small-scale production of Porsche-styled 911 sports cars and tuning, introduced the off-road Rodeo concept. For Ruf, this is the first experience building a four-wheel drive transmission machine.
However, technically, Ruf Rodeo Concept and Porsche 911 have little in common. The coupe is built around a carbon monocoque with steel deformation zones and is equipped with a 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine. The unit is assembled on the basis of the Porsche block, but the similarities end there. The motor produces 510 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed “mechanics”.

In fact, the Rodeo concept is one of the modifications of the CTR / SCR models. The first is equipped with a turbo engine 3.6, the second – thereby the “aspirated” 4.0. The sports car suspension is assembled on double wishbones with pushing rods and horizontal shock absorbers. Brakes are carbon-ceramic.
The Rodeo dvuhdverka – the first Ruf car with all-wheel drive transmission. There are no details about its work, but in the compartment of the compartment you can consider the switch, with which the distribution of torque between the axles is regulated. Other features include a long-stroke suspension, a kenguryatnik, searchlights of auxiliary lighting, a roof rack and a shovel.
The Rufa interior is finished with leather and fabric with a pattern imitating the geometric patterns of Navajo Indians.
