The German-Chinese company Borgward officially introduced the new compact crossover BX3, which became the cheapest model in the lineup. It is expected that the novelty will reach the Russian market.
The crossover reaches 4410 millimeters in length, 1828 millimeters in width, and 1670 millimeters in height. The wheelbase is 2560 millimeters. For comparison, one of the most compact all-terrain vehicles on the Russian market – Hyundai Creta – has a length of 4270 millimeters, a width of 1780 millimeters and a height of 1665 millimeters.
In the list of equipment there is a rear parking sensors, two airbags, air conditioning, an assistant when pulling uphill and an electric boot. Additionally, the BX3 can be equipped with all-round cameras, a sunroof and a digital dashboard.
The power plant alone, it is a 1.4-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower, which is also installed on the older model BX5. In pair with the engine, a six-speed “mechanics” or “automatic” is offered.
In the home market, the cost of a new product starts at 96.8 thousand yuan – in terms of rubles it is 860 thousand. Top-end equipment will cost at least 130.9 thousand yuan (1.2 million rubles). It is expected that the crossover will appear on the Russian market – in October this year, Rospatent registered the image of the model.
