Due to a detected defect, engine oil can enter the combustion chamber, which could result in excessive smoke, and in the worst case – reduced motor power. As part of the recall campaign, these vehicles will be checked and, if necessary, replaced with a new crankcase ventilation valve. The cost of repairs is borne by the automaker.

The last time the Subaru cars were revoked in December 2019. It was large-scale and affected 42,149 copies of Forester, Tribeca, Legacy, Outback, Impreza and WRX, sold on the Russian market from 2005 to 2011. Then Takata airbags were checked and replaced on cars, which at the time of an accident can explode and “shoot” metal elements of the structure at the driver and passengers.
