Hyundai is preparing to introduce a flying car

Hyundai at the January Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas will present the project of the future transport system

Among other things, the automaker will show a prototype of a “personal electric vehicle” (PAV – Personal Electric Vehicle). Judging by the published image, the flying car will be a compact tiltrotor – a device with rotary screw engines, which provide lift in vertical take-off, and work as pulling units in horizontal flight.

Recall that in September 2019 Hyundai announced the creation of a unit that will develop urban air transport. Shin Zhevon, who had been doing aviation research at NASA for about 30 years, became its executive vice president.
