The ANCAP test suite includes a frontal impact with a 40 percent overlap at a speed of 64 kilometers per hour, a side impact, a collision with a pole, bench tests for seats, and pedestrian safety assessment. In the crash tests, the basic Seltos for the Australian market took part, which has in its arsenal six airbags, ABS, an emergency braking system, a system for monitoring the lane of movement and a tire pressure sensor.
Based on the test results, the model earned the following ratings: 85 percent for the safety of adult passengers, 83 percent for the safety of passengers and children, 61 percent for the safety of pedestrians and 70 percent for the operation of security systems.
