In Belarus, at the airport in Minsk, a driver was billed for parking in the amount of 2.8 thousand local rubles, which is equivalent to approximately 81 thousand Russian rubles. It is reported by the portal TYT.BY.
According to the publication, the motorist was in such a situation due to inattention. Before flying to rest in Egypt, the driver put the car in a guest parking lot designed for short-term storage of the car. The first 20 minutes of parking are free, but then for each next hour you have to pay 10 rubles (290 Russian rubles).
The car was in the guest parking for 11 days 14 hours. Thus, the parking fee was 2780 rubles (80.5 thousand Russian rubles) – more expensive than the rest in Egypt. Tourists turned to the Minsk airport administration with a request to review the amount for parking, but were refused. They have no money to pay off the debt, so they decided to go to court.
