Henrik Fisker’s Twitter account showed a pickup render called “Alaska” at the stern, but soon after that the tweet was deleted. At the request of Motor1, the company replied that “they can’t confirm the model or name of the vehicle, which may have been seen on Twitter.” At the same time, the fact of developing a new modular platform, which in the future will become the basis for “several different available models of electric vehicles”, is not denied.
This is the second appearance of a pickup on the network. The first was spotted last August. On a remote “inadvertent” render, the pickup truck looks like a computer visualization with hand-drawn aggressive off-road tires. Presumably, the pickup will use the same platform as the Fisker Ocean crossover, which debuted last month at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The first deliveries of the crossover will begin in 2022. The starting price of an electric car with a range of 483 km is $ 37,499.
Given how many buyers of the Fisker Ocean crossover wait for their cars, the pickup will appear soon. Meanwhile, Tesla, Ford, and General Motors plan to release electric trucks at the end of 2021, and the Rivian R1T pickup is expected on the market before the end of this year.
