One of the premieres of last year was the appearance on the market of the FAW B30 sedan, which immediately went on sale throughout the dealer network of the exclusive distributor of the FAW brand – AIS Group of Companies
After a long break, FAW cars reappeared in Ukrainian car dealerships. A little forgotten by our car enthusiasts, the brand reminded itself of itself with a rather loud return. The first to be presented to the public was the FAW B30 sedan, one of the most affordable cars with an automatic transmission in our market.
The developers of the platform of the FAW B30 model actively used the technologies of the Volkswagen concern, to which FAW has been fruitfully cooperating for many years.
The design of the sedan is distinguished by its style, which is well reflected in its recognition. Appearance of the car turned out original and integral. Especially the designers tried to expressiveness of the front part – the hexagonal radiator grille, decorated with chrome, dominated by LED running lights and Eagle-eye optics dominates here.
The interior of the FAW B30 is dominated by dark shades, complemented by light elements and a strict style. The center console is made with noticeable simplicity, does not require getting used to, with the main emphasis on the 7-inch touch screen multimedia system. Its management is also completely sensory.
You can connect to the media center using Bluetooth, as well as via USB and AUX ports. An additional 3.5-inch display is located on the instrument panel, which displays data from the on-board computer.
A spacious interior is complemented by a roomy trunk of 480 liters.
Engine range
In Ukraine, the FAW B30 is still available with only one engine – a 1.6-liter petrol power unit. This engine develops 109 hp. and delivers 155 Nm of maximum torque. It is already achieved at 3600 rpm.
Fuel consumption should be about 6-7 liters per hundred kilometers.
The transmission of the sedan is also still uncontested – it is a six-speed automatic. But it is important to note that this is an aggregate of the Japanese company Aisin.
Equipment and configuration
In the prices of the FAW B30 model for Ukraine there is only one Comfort equipment, it offers a level of equipment. Active safety of the car is controlled by control systems (TCS) and exchange rate stability (ESP), while passive safety is provided by two frontal airbags. Parking in tight conditions simplifies the rear parking sensors, and disc brakes on all wheels provide reliable deceleration at high speed.
A spacious luggage compartment of 480 liters can be increased by folding the rear seats, and the trunk lid lock can be unlocked remotely using a key.
Also in the list of equipment of the model includes eco-leather upholstery, air conditioning, full power accessories, on-board computer, 16-inch alloy wheels and other useful options.
In Ukraine, prices for the FAW B30 sedan will start from 275,900 hryvnias. For this money, customers are offered a well-equipped car with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and a six-speed automatic.
It should also be noted that official dealers offer the opportunity to order the FAW B30 with a set of gas equipment. Such an option will cost 14,000 hryvnias, while the car will retain a factory warranty of 3 years or 100,000 kilometers.
