Bosch Unveils Adaptive Sun Visor at CES-2020 Consumer Electronics Show
Actually, its adaptability lies in the fact that the device will protect the driver’s eyes from blinding rays, without limiting the view. Details: Bosch has developed an adaptive sun visor in the form of an LCD panel that interacts with a camera that tracks the position of the driver’s head. This allows the smart system to darken the hexagonal sectors in such a way as to create a shadow only in the eye area. However, most of the visor remains transparent and does not close the view.
Interestingly, this technology was not developed by chance. The fact is that the company did a little research and came to the conclusion that bright light increases the likelihood of a serious accident by 16 percent compared to normal lighting.
