BMW has begun road trials of the “charged” M5 sedan. The car, which will receive only cosmetic changes, should debut before the end of this year. This is reported by Auto Express.
Judging by camouflage, after re-styling the BMW M5 will receive other bumpers, a slightly modified hood and trunk lid, as well as upgraded LED headlights with other daytime running light units.
The power unit of the “charged” sedan will not undergo changes. The BMW M5 is equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 engine with two turbines producing 625 hp. and 750 Nm of torque. The engine works together with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The car is capable of gaining the first “hundred” in 3.3 seconds, and its maximum speed is forcibly limited to 250 km per hour. In Russia, prices for the BMW M5 start at 8,240,000 rubles.
