In an interview with Automotive News Europe, the top manager said that the first electric Bentley will premiere at the earliest in 2025, and the British brand intends to create a fundamentally new model, and not transfer existing ones to electric power. Hallmark hinted that the first electric Bentley could share the PPE architecture with the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT, but refrained from detail.

True, Hallmark revealed several technical details, for example, that the electric Bentley may be slightly more compact than the current models, but the interior of the electric car “will retain its size and will comply with the brand standards.” In addition, it has already been stated that Bentley will try to use solid-state batteries instead of conventional batteries, since such a technology will save up to 30 percent of the mass without losing capacity.
