Last year, 490 employees of third-party organizations were identified at the Volga Automobile Plant while trying to steal property

In 2019, AvtoVAZ revealed 490 employees of “third-party organizations” while trying to steal material assets from the territory of the enterprise. This was reported in the video on the YouTube channel “Lada.Online.”

So, in December, “thanks to the technical means of control introduced into the security system,” a conveyor worker was discovered who stole parts. At the installation site of engines on six engines, the loss of oxygen concentration sensors was detected. Using surveillance cameras, it was possible to establish an attacker, who turned out to be a welder with seven years of experience. He admitted to the police that he brought several sensors through the checkpoint in a personal bag, and then sold them to a reseller in the market. The violator was fired at the enterprise.

In October 2019, it became known that Avtovaz had detained a criminal who regularly stole ignition keys from the new Lada Granta. The activities of the thief brought substantial material damage to the plant. So, a car ignition lock was removed from the steering column and locks in all the doors. After which it was necessary to install a new kit with license keys, to make appropriate changes to all documents on the machine. As a result, the plant’s security staff decided to install round-the-clock monitoring on the assembly line.
