The coordinator of the movement “Society of blue buckets” Petr Shkumatov commented on the proposal to use a taxi to move officials.
As the expert noted in an interview with MK, many government agencies have already switched to such a scheme and have refused to purchase cars.
“This is much more convenient for the department itself. Non-core functions that consume time are always better to outsource,” Shkumatov said.
At the same time, in his opinion, the transition to transport taxi services will not be more profitable from an economic point of view, since a commission of aggregators will constitute a separate expense item. The expert explained that the drivers are not sitting still and are “busy full time.”
“So, any agency will operate taxi drivers to the fullest,” he said.
Earlier, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that authorities are exploring the possibility of using taxi aggregators to move officials. He noted that the agency has been developing this initiative for about two years now. According to Siluanov, during this time, the use of aggregators has become less expensive, and such a scheme has become more competitive.
